More Tunes! Nurse Themes Songs Will Never Die

Posted by

Theme Song Graphic (1)Usually, I’d consider such a statement outlandish. Never die, really? Yet I keep thinking it’s ebbing, and it keeps bouncing back – over 51 songs on the books at Nurses’ Playlist: ALL the Theme Songs So Far, and lots more in my Green Room. I keep using them, and they keep piling up: it’s fantastic! So much energy, so much creativity! I love it, and my only regret is that I didn’t start collecting this great stuff far, far sooner. And I can live with that :).

Here we go:

1.2.3. Cory W. Orosz: “I’ve certainly had ‘Crazy B*tch‘ days, ‘One More Night weeks, and ‘I Will Survive shifts. My RN license came with an entire jukebox of situation-specific theme music!

  1. This song by Adelle , ROLLING IN THE DEEP, has a great message and can be used by someone who has been wronged in other ways than love relationship. I can relate to be railroaded by a BON.(az of course) It talks of coming out of a depression “replacing darkness (sadness) with fire (anger) and with darkness gone can see more clearly. “betrayed by trust” (who would think a BON would act in this way??) I”LL LAY YOUR SHIT BARE (when I point the finger and you and post your true colors and flaws ) (I’m gonna make your head burn ) Deception and Ill expose it all.
(think of me in your despair ) REAP WHAT YOU SOW YOU”LL GET WHAT”S COMING AND YOU WILL NEVER BE BAILED OUT (devil taking revenge ) Rolling in the deep.
Instead of we could have had it all, YOU could have been honest and fair, but you put your cult ahead of truth.
This Could also be someone scorned by sociopaths. Which anyone who treats someone in the manner is a sociopath.

    1. You make a strong case, Courtney! Perhaps my next inspiration project shall be fight songs!
As for sociopaths, I recommend The Sociopath Next Door. It’s a quick read and a useful self-defense manual. I think of sociopaths as the inspiration for the vampire myth. They might as well be vampires, in a sense, yet they account for one to four out of every hundred of us. Legion, and walking among us, everywhere!
Thanks for your effort and support. It matters, and I greatly appreciate it.

    1. Damn! I never expected to hear from such a celebrity blogger about my silly little project! You’re not a nurse, are you, OM? Not that it matters, I’m the exact opposite of rigid, and I both appreciate and welcome your fine idea. I imagine there are plenty of people willing to dislike or take offense at basically anything. Abundant evidence proves that dumbass and lazy are both abundant in all walks of life, too. So it goes. As for me and all nurses of the world with good taste, WE highly approve your fine idea. I have put it in my Green Room, and it will appear soon enough. Thanks, and feel free to offer as many as you like. Everyone else certainly does, and I love it all!

      1. My daughter is ten, and after ten years dealing with me, she’s a far more sophisticated operator than most psych pros I’ve ever met. Give her time and she’ll rule the world!

Psych nursing and parenting have much in common. I meet 60 year-old small children far more often than most people would consider possible. People often regress under stress, and trust me, growing up is completely optional. Plenty of people never pull it off.
