Without nurses, health care is largely fiction. What reality there is operates about 1000 times slower for a days, then grinds to a halt.
We are very fortunate that Jackson is at a hospital with one of the best NICUs in the northeast. He is in great hands with the doctors and nurses. The doctors prescribe whatever treatment is necessary and the nurses watch him around the clock. We have started to form close relationships with some of the nurses that he has often.
Last night we had the biggest scare, and we were so lucky to have his nurse with us.
